If you're one anonymous cyclist, you're thankful that your ride home along the highway was rather uneventful...

Just in case you can't tell by the pics, this was a voyage from the start of the rt40 connector on Whitney to 91N all the way through north haven to the ferry at exit by my house quite a few miles!
Haha, ur right, EC Scorcher. Plus he's a meatball so we can forgive him.
This is definitly the first I've heard of someone riding on the highway around here. From now on, he shall be known as "Meat-ballsy" for his display of bravery in the face of danger.
Now, to be a nerd, I will inform you that google maps offers a "walk there" option which is usually more bike-friendly than the "drive there" directions. It would have definitly left out the highway portion.
p.s. my word verification right now is "liatch" which means lazy biatch. Example: Anyone who would have just called a cab in Meatball's position is a liatch.

hey meatball, why don't you try Whitney Ave. or State St. next time. ur gonna git urself kilt!
I'm guessing because the MapQuest application for the iPhone doesn't allow a "remove highways" option...
